Guns to Gardens Community Event

Do you have any guns you no longer want or need? If so, consider participating in a modern-day “swords to plowshares” event on May 2, 2026 at the Shepherdstown Fire Department, 1 – 3:30 p.m. You may bring any unwanted firearms to be dismantled on site. After the event, the resulting materials will be turned into life-giving garden tools or art. For safety and privacy reasons, only event volunteers and participating gun owners will be allowed on site.
