Dedication of PAX Women's Center in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

The following comes from Larry Sthreshley, Regional Health Conslutant in Kinshasa, DRC.

"Today was the opening ceremony for the PAX Women’s Center. It was a long time coming, but it was a complex project. About half of the center was unusable space before the renovation. Now it is spacious with a logical patient flow and well lit with both a solar and generator electrical systems. Thanks to a Presbyterian Women’s project, there is now potable water throughout the PAX. The gynecology section has been open for about three weeks and is seeing an uptake in utilization. The maternity will start being used now that the surgery room is complete and equipped. Thank you for all you did to make this happen".
