Even the disciples who are closest to Jesus debate with each other what it is “to rise from the dead” (Mark 9:10). How do we wrestle with this central Christian teaching, about Jesus and about ourselves, in the midst of a pandemic? As we work for social justice? As we face a climate crisis?
