At a recent Committee meeting, we discussed how quickly the scene for immigrants and refugees has changed in our country. We have been reaching out to immigrants locally, but we also want to encourage social justice through advocacy and lobbying efforts.

In 2016, SPC set out on a rich process of self-reflection and assessment about who we are and where the future is calling us. The Congregational Assessment Tool (CAT) has been the framework for that reflection.

You might think that driving a thousand miles in the freezing cold and hanging out for most of a week with a thousand plus college students right after the crazy of Christmas would be exhausting—and you’d be right.  But also exciting and fun and filled with hope, and I so bring that all back here to you. 
 

New Sunday Service Hours Begin February 4

Beginning February 4, Sunday services will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Christmas 2017

CHRISTMAS 2017

ONE SERVICE ONLY (10:45 a.m.) Sunday, December 24 (carols and lessons; informal) and December 31 (children’s Christmas/Epiphany pageant). No 8:15 service on those two Sundays.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES 5:00 p.m. especially for children; 8:00 p.m. choirs, homily and candlelight; 11:00 p.m. carol sing, communion and candlelight.
