As climate change disproportionately affects those on the margins, we support policies and practices that protect people and the planet. We engage in education, advocacy, and sustainable living through:

• Local clean water projects
• Adult education events with environmental experts
• Community partnerships, and
• Solar power

In 2014, SPC installed a 60-panel solar array—the largest community-supported system in West Virginia at the time. Built in partnership with Solar Holler, it was financed through a groundbreaking crowdfunding model now used statewide.
