Ecumenical Community Fundraiser for Immigrant Support

LOVE THY NEIGHBOR: An Ecumenical Community Fundraiser for Mountain State Justice, Thursday, November 12, 6 p.m., at The Community Club. Let’s engage our compassion for our immigrant neighbors who need our support! Mountain State Justice provides legal services for immigrants in West Virginia. Due to an overwhelming caseload, they have had to turn away far too many people. The solution is to hire a bilingual paralegal at a cost of $55,000 per year. One member of our community has pledged $20,000 to jump start this fundraiser. Let’s match the pledge and raise enough to fund the entire first year!
