SUNDAY SEMINAR RESUMES, 9:30am via Zoom. We are reading Joan Chittister's book The Time is Now - A Call to Uncommon Courage (available at Four Seasons bookstore for $20 - mention SPC). Joan reaches into our souls with this question: How do we really get out of the swamp we're in? Reading the book is recommended but not required. Zoom at 9:15 am for coffee and conversation. LISTENING GROUP, Third Wednesdays of each month, 10–11am, Portico (Weather Permitting. Prayerful listening and reflecting in community. Explore poems, essays, meaningful quotations, psalms, and readings from other faith traditions and world religions as possible spiritual resources. The poem for October is "Appalachian Autumn" by Parker Palmer. All are welcome! No experience necessary! In the event of inclement weather, we will move indoors to a classroom. Bring a mask!
